Edith is an 82 year old lady who works full time at Wal Mart who needs our help. She farmed with her husband Bob until about a year ago when he passed away. Edith took care of Bob for several years while he suffered from dymentia. When he died, she had to borrow money to pay for his funeral service.
Edith has now been in an auto accident and is unable to work, She has seven broken ribs, her right leg is crushed, her left leg is broken, her wrist is broken, and her collar bone is broken. She needs help to cover the cost of medical bills and rehab. (The driver who hit Edith does not have insurance.) Edith also needs help to cover her monthly expenses and house payments while she is unable to work (She plans on returning to work as soon as she is able).
Edith has lived a simple rural life, helping others, feeding the community through farming, and loving on family and friends. Let’s do our part to help her.
**Note: the money goes directly to Edith. That’s means no money gets syphoned off to nonprofit ‘overhead’, but it also means this is not a tax-deductible donation.
